As we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, we find ourselves questioning whether we are more united or even safer. Have we really recovered from our personal and national trauma? The hope of The 9/11 Arts Project is to begin addressing such questions by catalyzing a healing dialogue through the arts. Started by Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts, the project is a collaboration of artists, social activists, non-profits and interfaith groups in the greater Washington metropolitan community that explores individual, community and global healing 10 years after 9/11.
We look forward to collaborating with local museums, interfaith leaders, galleries, social activist groups, universities, community groups, arts non-profits, etc. Find out more on how to contribute an event or program and join the project!
The 9/11 Arts Project is an initiative of Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts, a 501(C) 3 nonprofit organization. All Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
